Events
Holding in-person events plays a vital role in strengthening relationships with our TPI partners and creating meaningful opportunities for knowledge sharing. Taking the time to get together face-to-face allows for more open conversations, deeper understanding of each other’s priorities, and the chance to share insights that are often missed in virtual settings.
These events help build trust, reinforce long-term partnerships and enable more collaborative ways of working, which in turn allows us to provide more personalised, responsive support to TPIs and their customers.
Alongside our annual conference, we also host other exclusive TPI events throughout the year at The Stoop. These sessions give selected TPIs early access to market insights, followed by hospitality and VIP matchday experiences with our partners at Harlequins.

TPI Conference 2026
Against a backdrop of increasing market complexity and changing customer expectations, Conrad Energy’s 2026 Intermediary Conference brought together TPIs from across the UK to explore this year’s theme, Powering Decisions in Chaotic Markets: The Evolving Role of Energy Intermediaries.
Hosted at The Stoop, home of Harlequins Rugby Club, the event combined market insight, practical advice and expert perspectives to help intermediaries navigate an increasingly dynamic energy landscape. Cornwall Insight provided a detailed outlook on the future of the energy market, exploring wholesale price forecasts, market reform, flexibility signals and the key risks and opportunities intermediaries should be helping customers prepare for.
Conrad Energy’s Anna Partington and Tim Foster explored how intermediaries can strengthen their advisory role, manage risk and deliver greater value to customers in an evolving market. Sessions focused on changing customer expectations, the growing importance of trust and transparency, and how intermediaries can move beyond procurement to become strategic advisers.
Harlequins Performance Analyst Ross Hamilton shared how elite teams use data, trust, and preparation to make decisions under pressure, drawing parallels between high-performance sport and today’s energy market. Bringing the day to a close, Chris Conrad, former Head of Royal Protection Operations and crisis negotiation specialist, shared lessons from planning some of the world’s most complex events and leading through uncertainty when the stakes are highest.

The day brought together members of the TPI community for a mix of insight and inspiration. Cornwall Insight also shared the latest outlook on the energy market and businesses attitudes to sustainable products and services.
Next, England and Harlequins rugby legend Danny Care explained how he sustained such a long illustrious career in elite sport and there was a short panel session on sustainability in sports.
Following lunch and a player meet-and-greet, attendees heard from Duncan Goose, founder of charity water brand One, who captivated the audience with the story of how the company was set up and has now raised over £25m for clean water projects in Africa.
