Our first battery storage acquisition

We have cemented further our move into battery storage with the first in a series of acquisitions to complement our growing organic battery pipeline, which stands at over 250MW.

The 24MW battery project in Blackpool was acquired from Power Initiatives and, with the grid connection and planning consent secured, we expect the site to commence construction in the autumn.

Conrad Energy has placed facilitating the transition to a low carbon economy at the centre of its’ business strategy reflecting their vision of becoming a full-service power provider. Battery storage assets are key to supporting the grid and enabling the growth of renewable power as the UK works towards achieving its’ target of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
